FUNDRAISER FOR A ACCESABLE VAN
At Mamasafi, we recognize the urgent need for accessible transportation solutions in our community. Our region faces unique challenges, with schools located far from residential areas and limited infrastructure making it difficult for disabled individuals to reach essential destinations like school, work, and medical facilities. Tragically, we have witnessed the loss of lives due to prolonged trips to medical facilities and the distressing frequency of accidents involving individuals with disabilities relying on boda bodas (motorcycle taxis).
The lack of accessible vans not only affects the daily lives of disabled individuals but also limits their ability to participate in community activities and access critical services. Without access to an accessible van, these children endure long and arduous journeys to reach school, impacting their physical well-being and time. To address these profound challenges, Mamasafi aims to provide our community with accessible vans designed to meet the specific needs of disabled individuals. These vans will ensure safe and comfortable transportation, alleviating the physical strain and logistical difficulties faced daily.
With your support, we can purchase a specially equipped van designed to accommodate wheelchairs and provide comfortable seating for passengers with disabilities. This van will serve as a lifeline, enabling disabled individuals to participate in daily activities, access medical care, and engage with the community independently.
Your donation will directly impact the lives of disabled individuals, granting them the freedom and dignity they deserve. Join us in making a difference and ensuring equal opportunities for mobility and inclusion for everyone in our community.
